What Is A Financial Plan?

A financial plan is a personalized roadmap that helps you align your money with your life goals. It covers all key areas of your financial life — like budgeting, insurance, investing, retirement, tax strategies, and estate planning — and shows how they all work together.

Whether you're a DIY investor, just starting out after post secondary or planning for retirement, a well-crafted financial plan brings clarity, direction, and peace of mind.

Fee-Only & Advice-Only

Fee-only, advice-only financial planning means you pay for objective advice, not products. Fees are based on time and complexity - not your income or assets - so everyone gets unbiased, professional guidance. It’s a transparent, accessible alternative to traditional commission-based advice. This is best for those who need clarity and direction on what to implement, with some support along the way. This will provide you with the appropriate steps and action items on what to take.

Costs:

  • Basic Individual Plan: $750 + HST
  • Basic Couples/Family Plan: $1500 + HST
  • Extra cost for additional review meeting(s) or more complexity: $150/hr
